Ambassador Adan Muse Jibril, who held the positions of ambassador for Ethiopia and the United Kingdom, was invited by the political science and international relations department at CSI on December 31, 2022, to speak to second-year students about his diplomatic career. He went into considerable length about the foundational ideas of diplomacy, the development of international diplomacy, the structure and responsibilities of the Somaliland Representative Office Abroad, and the significance of educating the future diplomats in these fields, all of which were covered in great detail by Ambassador Adan. Just a few of the viewpoints on diplomacy that the ambassador discussed with the students were those mentioned above.
