It was a great pleasure and honor to welcome a delegates from the Civil Service Strengthening Project and the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, whilst discussed the inputs and the outputs of the project activities and the impacts of the training programs delivered by Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration - GIMPA to the civil servants of Somaliland and the top executives of the government in 2022.
The Civil Service Institute CSI of Somaliland has been working with the World Bank’s funded CSSP project (the Civil Service Strengthening Project - CSSP) headed by the - Civil Service Commission of Somaliland for the past five years and despite the hiccups & the challenges we have faced along the way, we are all very proud of today that we have come to an end were we have achieved most of our main targets and realized the objectives of Institute in regarding the capacity development of the Somaliland’s civil servants & top management, updating CSI’s training manuals/curriculum and improved the institute’s staff capacity, whilst more than 400 civil servants were training in different capacities including short-term training, post graduate and certification training, and 53 trainers were certified as a professional ToTs.
