  • CSI, Hargeisa Office, is located in the city center of Hargeisa, opposite the Deero Mall building and inside the Hay’ada Shaqaalaha Dawlada building.

  • How many years does it take to graduate from CSI?
  • Undergraduate school takes three years; postgraduate school takes 2 years to graduate.
  • What are the requirements for enrolling?
  • Students who intend to enroll in undergraduate schools are expected to sit for an entrance exam, which will determine their ability to register for the CSI.
  • Students who intend to enroll in graduate schools are expected to have a Bachelor’s Degree in relatable fields that are offered in the master’s degree of the CSI.
  • What is the cost of tuition at the institute (Bachelor/Master)?
  • Undergraduates who are civil servants are free of tuition charges due to the letters of nomination from their Ministries. Students who are not civil servants are expected to pay $200 at the beginning of each semester.
  • Graduates who are civil servants are expected to pay $340 at the start of each semester. Students who are not civil servants are expected to pay $400 at the beginning of each semester; excluding payments of textbooks.
  • Does CSI offer scholarships?
  • CSI is a public institute with an excellent education which has limited financial aid offers. Therefore, students with special needs are allowed to apply for a scholarship.
  • Can a student transfer to CSI?
  • Yes, students can transfer to CSI. However, the number of courses that they previously took that are also offered by the faculty of the institute determines when they will graduate, and which year they will enroll in.
  • Will CSI give job opportunities to its graduates?
  • CSI was established with the mission of improving civil servants’ ability to excel in their work fields professionally, which limits the offer of jobs within the institute
