Abdihakim Osman offered a guest lecture on decentralization, local governance, and service delivery modernization to our fresh Development Management class yesterday. Abdihakim shared an in-depth experience of Rwanda's local governance system, as he had a close eye on its development and traveled to there for study. He summarized what can be learned for the benefit of Somaliland and its local governance system and of course, what Somaliland can offer to Rwanda. We hope that the students have learned a great deal from this lesson and will use it to advance Somaliland. We are committed to providing students with more experience outside of classroom instruction.
